Aura and Spiritual Radiation
The mysterious ray of light as healing power was explained earlier. Here I am going to give a more detailed explanation.
The human spiritual body is shaped like the physical body. The only difference is that the spiritual body is clothed with an aura. A type of light wave is constantly emitted from the spiritual body, which is just like clothes for the spiritual body. It is usually white, some being tinged slightly yellow or purple. The difference in its thickness is extremely great; it is normally 1.5 inches thick, but the sick has a thinner aura, which gradually decreases in thickness as the condition worsens until it totally disappears immediately before death. Those who do not have long to live are often described as fading away. Their thinned aura probably imparts such an impression. On the contrary, those who enjoy health have a thick aura. People of virtues have an even thicker aura with stronger light wave. The aura of heroes is thicker than that of ordinary people; that of great people is even thicker; and that of saints is extremely thick. The thickness of aura is, however, not consistent; it constantly changes according to the individual’s thoughts and deeds. When one is grounded on justice and does virtuous deeds, one’s aura becomes thick, while it becomes thin when one does the opposite. As a basic rule, an aura is normally invisible to the human eye, with only rare exceptions. However, even normal people may be able to discern it to some extent when gazing at the object with a quiet mind.
The thickness of the aura is greatly related to human fate. A thicker aura means more happiness, while a thinner aura means more unhappiness. Those who have a thick aura imparts a warm and pleasant feeling to people who come in contact with them, attracting many. This is because people become wrapped in their aura. Conversely, those who have a thin aura gives a cold, unpleasant, and sorrowful impression, which makes others uncomfortable. Thus, the basis of achieving happiness is to make efforts to thicken one’s aura.
Then, how can we thicken our aura? Before explaining this, let me explain the true substance of the aura.
There is no need to point out that when human thoughts and deeds are analyzed, they all fall into either good or evil. The thickness of aura is in proportion to the amount of good and evil. In other words, when one thinks and does good, it gives satisfaction to the inner conscience. This thought becomes light which adds to the spiritual body, increasing the light. In the opposite case, evil becomes clouds, increasing the amount of clouds on the spiritual body. On the outside, when one does good for someone, the latter’s gratitude turns into light and becomes transmitted to the benefactor through the spiritual cord, increasing the luminance. In the opposite case, thoughts of resentment, hatred, and jealousy turn into clouds and become transmitted, increasing their amount. This shows that people should always do good and make others happy, never incurring hatred, resentment, and jealousy from others.
Many people who suddenly rise in the world or become rich often experience a failure and go to ruin before long for the above reason. Because they attribute the cause of their success to their own ability and competence or hard work, they become selfish and self-righteous while being puffed up with pride. Indulging themselves in extravagance, they incur thoughts of hatred, resentment, and jealousy from numerous people, which come swarming on them. As a result, their aura loses light and becomes thin, leading them, in the end, to ruin. Some distinguished and wealthy families with generations of history fall to ruin. Those who are at the higher ranks in society are benefited from the nation and society more than others, and therefore, they must recompense for it; they should do a great deal for the sake of society, and should try to eliminate their clouds through doing so. Most of them, however, are absorbed by their own greed without performing altruistic deeds. As a result, their clouds increase and spiritually they fall into vulgarity no matter how grandiose they may appear. This eventually leads them to ruin according to the law of the spiritual preceding the physical. A little before the great earthquake which hit Tokyo, a certain clairvoyant told me that the city of magnificent tall buildings was spiritually filled with rows of small shacks. To my surprise, this turned out to be true.
There are other examples from the United States. When Rockefeller, the well-known man of wealth, was still an apprentice at a store, he made donations to a Christian church with the belief that human beings must do good deeds. He started from five cents a week, then increased the amount to ten cents, fifty cents, ten dollars, a hundred dollars, as his income increased. In the end, he established the renowned Rockefeller Institute. In the beginning, he recorded the amount of his donations at the back of his notebook, which later became a family treasure. Mr. Andrew Carnegie who created Bethlehem Steel Mill, the biggest one in the US, put his cherished theory into practice at death: he donated his whole fortune of hundreds of millions of dollars for the interests of the public, leaving only one million dollars and college education to his son, the heir. In his voluminous work “American People”, Munstarbelch wrote very highly of this American millionaire’s attitude of not leaving an unnecessary fortune to his offspring. For instance, in 1903 alone, he donated about ten million dollars to universities, libraries, and institutes, and anonymously many times more. He also made a huge donation to “the International Peace Foundation” immediately after the First World War. A part of the money was used to revive the scholars and academic circles in Germany. Without this, the extensive research series on war and crime, the first of its kind in the world, completed by Professor Liepman and others would never have been published. It is said that this research alone has made a tremendous contribution to world happiness. When I think about these facts, I understand where America’s prosperity is coming from. On the other hand, the fact that Japanese financial combines were far too self-serving has brought ruin upon them, which is no coincidence.
The thinner one’s aura is, the more susceptible one is to misfortunes and calamities. Their clouds make their brain dull, depriving them of right judgment and decisiveness, and obstructing their view of things. They dream about a momentary success and fret. Such people may achieve a tiny success, but surely be ruined in the long-run. In this sense, statecraft becomes corrupted when it is administered by people with a thin aura. At the same time, the people suffer under the corrupt administration because of their thin aura. These are indeed all inevitable.
Those who have a great amount of clouds are apt to have purification, which means they are susceptible to disease and calamities. Being involved in a traffic accident means the person’s aura is thin; those who have a thick aura escape any kind of misfortune. For example, when a train or a car is about to collide, the spirit of the train or car can only hit people with a thin aura. Those who have a thick aura will be thrust aside and escape unscathed, due to the resilience of the aura.
From the above principle, the only way to become happy is to accumulate virtue and make one’s aura thick. Some people resign themselves to their ill fate thinking that they were born to be that way. They are to be much pitied, for they do not know the above principle. Our medical art can also achieve better results when the healer’s aura is thick. At the same time, a healer who saves many patients receives their gratitude, which makes his or her aura become thicker and thicker, which in turn brings about more excellent results.
